2nd time around in manila

july 20, 2009 was a second time around in manila after two years but our stay had been shorter this time. our flight took a surprising amount of time to get there. no delays though but we had to hop planes three times. it was already dark when we arrived manila. the airport looked less busier that night and our exit went pretty smoothly. didn't overtip the porters this time. manila air was the usual hot and muggy. as well, there was a crowd of people on the other side of the waiting area. seeing them though ensured my "feeling of having arrived". thank God... we arrived manila...safely; a lovely feeling after bouncing around in the clouds for hours!

me and my munchkins made the most of three weeks. it was heartwarming to hear my munchkins address their mom's former classmates as tito and tita during the two get-togethers that we had. my heartfelt thanks to you nick for arranging the august 8th meet-up. sincere thanks to jerry, nick, nito and macky for taking the tab for the food and booze. salamat at nalasing ninyo kami!!! :-) hugs and kisses to you jovie, maribeth, mia and alice for the time and for coming out to meet me and my girls. thanks jovie for the beaded hairclip. you had it and had been using it for a long time but you gave it up for me after admiring how lovely it was. hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ang "little birdie" ni macky at ang "this is the moment" at "himala" ni nick. salamat at napahagalpak ninyo sa tawa kami!!!

i got the chance, finally, to create a slide of our photos and short vids. these are what i have in my camera. i am sure nick has more photos and vids to share. i also included here photos of our visit in MRHS and our meet-up with mr. austria, the principal,former and current teachers. have fun watching!

august 3 - meeting with avida condo rep
august 4 - out of ggs
august 5 - ace water spa, trinoma
august 6 - meeting with magnolia place condo rep
august 8 - get-together with high school classmates, roxas
august 9 - project 6 church, min-min's choir, jollibee
august 10 - the arena, san juan ncaa game
august 10 - party with the alonto's
august 11 - visit in mrhs, sm north edsa, cubao, trinoma
august 12 - goodbye manila
